Consultation and Presentations

I provide consultation to schools, agencies, and community programs to help them better meet the needs of children with emotional, learning, and behavioral challenges.  I help programs and professionals form relationships with children who are hard to engage, create trauma-informed treatment plans, and structure their programs, environments, and expectations to better support all types of children.

I also provide consultation to lawyers and the courts looking for guidance on placement, treatment, visitation, and parenting.  I have testified as an expert witness in many of the area's juvenile courts.  I am available for private pay or as a Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) vendor.

I provide workshops and trainings to agencies, schools, psychotherapists, and parent groups on a range of topics:

  • Attachment
  • Trauma
  • Loss
  • Managing difficult behaviors

  • Parenting challenging children
